Daily write-up - Feb 10th

Sorry guys, but the situation tomorrow is no better than it has been for the past couple of days.
The meetings scheduled for Ludlow and Limerick has both been washed away, leaving just Carlisle.
However, low class horses of unknown fitness, running on desperate ground – mean that the races are effectively lotteries (and therefore not serious betting mediums).
I’ll be keeping an eye on our old friend Hartside, who runs in the finale on the card.
He is getting to be well handicapped – and will have no issue with either the ground or the track.
However, he’s been absent for 60 days – and that seems a little strange for a horse who tends to run regularly during the season.
The suggestion is that he might need the run...
I’ve nominated the handicap chase at 2:20 as the ‘race of the day’. Good luck to the guys in the forum trying to unravel that one !
Talking of the forum, I put a couple of posts up there this afternoon, which really should be read by anyone who backs the tips on BF.
If you tend to back the tips late – especially at BSP - then the posts could significantly help with your profitability...
Aside from that, there’s not a lot to report !
I do expect to be back bright and early on Thursday morning, as I don’t envisage any issues at either Doncaster or Huntingdon (I would hope that both will have better ground – and hopefully there will be some better horses on show !).
Until then...

TVB.
